I know that many people are against it, but i happen to like it along with other fans.

I really enjoyed their first scene together, and yes I agree with everyone saying that it came out of the blue and it was OOC, BUT I also think that the writer’s intents were to create a love triangle between Tyler/Caroline/Klaus. They just needed to speed up the process so they made Klaus fall for her quickly but not Caroline because they don’t want to ruin her image for the fans. Klaus is an evil bastard and Caroline is a good person who would never dream of ending up with someone like him, someone who has hurt her so badly. But, every person on this show has been hurt by their significant other. Elena has been hurt by Stefan, Damon has hurt Elena and vise versa. Stefan has lied to Elena, kept secrets from her and in season 3 he tried to kill her twice. Damon killed Elena’s brother, threatened to turn her into a vampire and forced his blood down her throat twice. Katherine destroyed who Damon was, stripped him of his humanity and never once cared about him. There’s so many dysfunctional relationships on this show. But despite all of that people want them together, and the majority of this fandom ships DE, so I don’t understand why Damon, who has done worse things to Elena, the woman he loves with all his heart and soul, deserves to get with Elena when Klaus’s actions to Caroline weren’t that severe. Now, don’t take this the wrong way and assume I’m defending Klaus when I’m not, I’m simply stating that Klaus deserves love just as much as the next person on this show and shouldn’t be unworthy of Caroline just because “he’s the most wicked” or “he killed Elena’s aunt and tried to kill her.” that argument doesn’t work and makes you a hypocrite if you’re a DE’er, SE’er, or a fan of any ship on this show saying this.

But before we officially get Klaroline, I would like to see Klaus apologizing for everything that he’s done. Not only to Caroline but to everyone else as well. That is, if he ever wants to truly be with Caroline and have her respect him.

I honestly see Klaroline as a mix of SE and DE. It’s like SE because Klaus just fell for Caroline out of nowhere. There was no build up with his love for her, it just happened. It’s like DE because Caroline isn’t falling for his charm, she’s not easily seduced and Klaus likes that about her. He’s a lot like Damon in many ways if you just analyze the characters properly. Klaus and Damon were both hated by their dads, they had a terrible life and were forced to be vampires, and they both hunger for love. Klaus has messed up, chose to do bad things, but desires to be loved. He doesn’t want to be alone in the world and neither does Damon. They are both tortured souls who need love more then anything. And I love that their characters are so complex and not one dimensional. They’re bad, evil, but underneath that facade is a person yearning, longing, to be loved by someone. I find that just simply beautiful, and love that they’re not just sadistic, evil people all the time.

Why would anyone want that for them? Don’t they find character growth amazing? Do they want Klaus or Damon to be evil and miserable for the rest of eternity? I sure as hell don’t want that. Granted, we haven’t really seen that much growth in Klaus but I believe we’re getting there. It’s only a matter of time.

Do I believe that Caroline will fall for Klaus? Yes, but not soon. It will take her time but I believe that if Klaus truly cares for her and her friends and tries to right the wrong that he has done, then yes, I can see them happening. Tyler will definitely be in the way but only time will tell if their bond is strong enough to repair the damage that is done.

I am both a multi shipper for Forwood and Klaroline so I can’t really say who I root for more. I just wish each couple the best and whoever is together is fine with me. (even though I want Klaroline a bit more).

I love Klaus, I love Caroline, and I love Klaroline. They have so much potential, if only people weren’t so quick to judge what a character has done and deem them unworthy of ever having love and only wanting them to “stay evil.” I pity those fans because they’re not real fans if they don’t love every side to their favorite character. You only love the “fun” and “exciting” aspect of them and that’s not all who they truly are. A character isn’t here just to be evil and make your TV blow up with killing and bloodshed, a character has a journey that they must follow and if their journey is to find love or something else then they should be allowed to take that and not succumb to what everyone else wants them to be. Damon, Katherine, and Klaus were the most evil characters compared to everyone else but they turned out to be something completely different. They grew on us and we love them now, just like we do the good ones.

Just give Klaroline a chance, it may surprise you.
